The cherries traded by Vergina Fruit come from farms cultivated in the plains and the mountains of Imathia and Pella. Continuous monitoring of the estates and harvesting at the appropriate stage of maturity help substantially to the consistently high quality of the fruits. The cherries are pre-cooled immediately after harvesting (hydrocooler) and then calibrated and packed according to customers’ requirements.
